Denmark-based Bitcoin merchant processing service, BIPS, suffered a BTC 1,295 (about USD 1m) loss following a major DDoS attack and subsequent theft that occurred between November 15 and 19.
Following the heist, BIPS has moved to alter their strict non-disclosure privacy policy to track down the culprits. Before this can happen, the company will seek agreement from affected wallet users to voluntarily sign the required permission documents.
BIPS is the fourth large Bitcoin processor, or wallet service, to suffer a break-in this month alone.
